Empress of Ireland, the story continues.

A boat sinks off Sainte-Luce and takes 456 lives with it.

The Empress of Ireland is the story of the 1914 shipwreck and the glorious transatlantic past of that era. More than 100 years after the tragedy, traces of the shipwreck can still be found on land and at the bottom of the river.
The exhibition comes to life through the testimonies of the passengers of the ship or the objects it housed. The history of the Empress of Ireland continues to be written.
